Geist was honored for his role as one of the prime sponsors of the legislation that created the Ben Franklin program.

The Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center showcased PRII products and information at the 14th Annual SBDC Client Exposistion and Breakfast Reception on May 13, 2008 in Harrisburg, PA.

On April 2nd, PRII hosted around 45 people who were a part of Leadership Centre County Local Economy Day. PRII was happy to give these guests information about the company and to give everyone a tour of the facility.

The Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania has nominated PRII for Technology Company of the Year for the 2008 Technology Awards Gala on March 28, 2008 at the Whitaker Center for Sciences and the Arts in Harrisburg, PA.
The Chamber of Business & Industry Centre County has named Piezo Resonance Innovations, Inc as a finalist for the 2007 Outstanding Technology Company of the Year Award. The winner will be announced on February 21, 2008 at the CBICC Awards Gala. You can find a listing of all of the finalists for all of the categories here.

We attended the American Academy of Ophthalmology 2007 annual meeting in New Orleans where we demonstrated two prototype medical devices for potential customers.

PRII executed a license agreement with Penn State Research Foundation for the Novel Design for a Ceramic-Metal Composite Actuator also known as the Cymbal Transducer (US Patent Nos. 4,999,819; 5,276,657 and 5,729,077).
PRII has partnered with Precision Medical Products, Denver PA to develop 
two active medical device products.

PRII delivered its first medical device and electronics to Medical Treatment Systems in Raleigh, North Carolina.
