Cymbal Transducers
PRII executed a license agreement with Penn State Research Foundation for the Novel Design for a Ceramic-Metal Composite Actuator also known as the Cymbal Transducer (US Patent Nos. 4,999,819; 5,276,657 and 5,729,077).
PRII uses COMSOL Multiphysics to optimize the design of the cymbal transducers. We also have the capabilities to prototype and manufacture the cymbals to meet any application needs.
